BE WHERE YOU ARE.

So often, especially in the everyday context of healing and recovery, we are thinking ahead.  We focus on where we are going, and how to proceed.  In a moment where there is pain and trauma, we are so ready push beyond the trauma, leaving it as history and not present.  To truly move forward, however, we need to be present to where we are.   Some days  ‘where you are’ will be a beautiful moment, surrounded by loved ones and families and happiness, and some days ‘where you are’ will be in a darker place, reliving hurt you wish you didn’t have to.  Even in these darker moments, the answer is to be present, instead of rushing past.  Acknowledge, breathe, and release.
